TRADING UPDATE
As usual, January was a slow month but, trading improved over February and March 2015. Our restaurants have traded steadily with members taking advantage of the membership renewal promotion with both the Esperanto Dining Room and Zest Restaurant fully booked in the last couple of weeks of March 2015.
All bank covenants continue to be met.
As previously advised, CTC was the only club in New South Wales that had to accommodate the new Lock-Out Laws from February 2014. The good news is that in February 2015, the Club’s application for exemption from the Lock-Out Laws received conditional approval from the NSW Government Trade & Investment. This means that from 1:30am until 3:00am our 196 Gaming area can open to the public without alcohol being served with these same trading conditions applying to the entire Club from 3:00am. Although the number of members and guests utilising the area throughout these times is small at present, patronage continues to grow as players return to the Club in that time slot.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Don’t forget that the Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in the Celebrity Room on Tuesday 26 May 2015 at 6:00pm.
If you are able to attend, please do so. The Club’s Annual Report and Statement of Accounts for 2014 and the outlook for 2015 will be presented.

LIFE MEMBERS LUNCH
As usual, a resolution will be put to members at the AGM to elect new Life Members with 40 years continuous membership. If carried, a celebratory lunch will be held for those 143 new Life Members in the Celebrity Room on Friday, 29 May 2015 at 12:00pm. At the lunch, Life Member badges will be presented.
This is always a wonderful occasion and our opportunity to recognise and thank those long standing members for their loyalty and support.
COMMITTEE ELECTIONS
The Committee elections will be held in May 2015. This election will be determined by a postal ballot and the results will be announced on Friday 29 May 2015. I urge all Gold, Silver and Life members to cast your vote.
The nominations for the 2015 Committee Elections close at 5.00pm on Friday, 24 April 2015. The notice in respect of Committee elections was published in the previous edition of the magazine.
RESIGNATION OF VICE CHAIR
The Club’s Vice Chair, Ms Wendy Fisher, has recently resigned from the Committee.
Wendy was a member of our Club’s Committee for six (6) years and Vice Chair for four (4) years. Wendy was the first female to hold the Vice Chair role.
On behalf of all members, I thank Wendy for her contribution.
AIRSPACE DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
I am pleased by the continuing strong interest by members in our proposed Airspace Development.
I would like to alert members to the next Airspace Briefing Meeting occurring at 6:45pm on Tuesday 28 April 2015. Members are encouraged to attend this meeting and hear an important update following the recent Expression of Interest campaign.

The final draw of the ‘Strike It Lucky’ promotion for Stature Rewards Members takes place on Thursday 14 May 2015 where $5,000 will be won over seven (7) draws. This promotion has allowed Stature Rewards members the opportunity to earn entries for the chance to share in $30,000. Earning entries into the last draw is easy. Simply visit the Club every day and use your membership card in the venue to receive your bonus entries depending on your level of status.
In addition to this promotion, Stature Rewards members also have the opportunity of earning points or paying by points for any food or beverage purchased in our restaurants, cafe and bars.
New Super 7’s Promotion
A new ‘Super 7s’ promotion is starting for Black, Gold and Pearl Stature Rewards members on Thursday 28 May 2015.
Seven (7) draws will take place from 6:45pm to 8:30pm with $5,000 cash guaranteed to be given away. Super 7’s draws will continue every second Thursday until 17 September 2015.

New Points Multiplier
The Club will also be running a Special Promotion for Black and Gold members every Saturday and Sunday in May 2015.
Black Stature Rewards members can earn 3 x their bonus points and Gold can earn 2 x their bonus points all weekend. All members who qualify need to remember to use their membership card at all times when in the Club.

Members Badge Draw
The $20,000 City Tattersalls Club Members’ Badge Draw is currently running with draws held every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6.30pm and 7.30pm. This will jackpot by $1,000 every week.
I note that within the current Members’ Badge Draw promotion, a member who was present was drawn and won $7,000 cash.
